Town Meeting Quilt shows

Starting in 2008, the Glover Historical Society has installed, at the request of the Selectboard in an effort to both beautify and act as an acoustic damper, a dramatic quilt show for Town Meeting.  Quilts, loaned by local families, are hung from the ceiling and along the walls the day before town meeting and removed the day after. Some of the quilts are newly quilted, but many are family heirlooms.  The project has been an overwhelming success and has even been credited for maintaining a more civil mood at town meeting.
